Meridian is Downtown Houston's largest independent concert, party and special events venue in the city. Meridian is centrally located in East Downtown, on the edge of Houston's historic warehouse district. Since opening in April 2004, Meridian has became one of the most talked about Clubs in the country, and has been named “Best New Club” and “Best Club for Out of Town Acts,”  by the Houston Press.
